After taking a couple of short mission trips to our university in Nicaragua, I found myself there again for the third time.

Sensing a push to be in the mission work full-time, I asked God, “if you want me to continue in the mission field here make it rain.” As it was the dry season and almost never rained this time of year, I decided to put God to the test. I had just listen to a sermon by Pavel Goia where he had done the same thing in Saudi Arabia.

Two days later I woke up to the sound of rain and stepped outside, feeling the rain on my face. Shortly the rain stopped so I went in for breakfast. When I came out, it started raining on me again, and then stop. We drove to town to work on projects and as I stepped out of the car, it started raining on me again, the third time. So I asked God, “if you want me to be here in the Mission field full-time, make it rain on me seven times today”.

That day it rained on me seven times.

When I got back to the university, I told the teacher what had just happened. She laughed and said “so It’s your fault that it’s raining so much today.”

This is only one of five directions from God that moved me to be a full-time missionary.
