Nakhon Sawan

MINISTRY: Nakhon Sawan

LOCATION: Nakhon Sawan, Thailand

TYPE OF MINISTRY: Reaching an unreached city

MISSIONARIES INVOLVED: Jonathan & Hannah Hill

Nakhon Sawan, translated as The Heavenly City, is located in the vast plains of Central Thailand. Until recently, it had no Adventist presence: no church, no missionaries, and no believers. Jonathan and Hannah Hill now live in this city as a foothold for the Lord.

Over the short time they’ve been there, they have made beautiful and powerful connections with some of the locals, including some with significant influence, through friendship evangelism. They’ve also been able to minister to other foreigners who are working or volunteering in the city. Recently, God enabled them to launch a dream they have had for a while: to pass out thousands of GLOW tracts in the Thai language. They plan to distribute more as God provides. The fund for this project is to help them establish an Adventist presence in The Heavenly City of Thailand.

The Leffler family recently moved to Thailand, and have joined Jonathan and Hannah in Nakhon Sawan.
