If our JFA Bible workers are our ground force, television is our air force. TV ministry has proved to be a powerful tool to reach into people’s homes and introduce them to Jesus. We are currently airing a half-hour program every day on two popular channels, and our TV Ministry’s prayer team members are conducting over 170 Bible studies a week!

Through this ministry, we have seen God give hope to people who were being crushed by depression, heal the sick, and even save someone from being bitten by a venomous snake! 

What makes the India TV ministry so effective?

1. TV programs can reach people who may otherwise have no access to the Gospel. Someone may fear persecution, be prejudiced against Christianity, or have no one in their area to share Jesus with them; TV can reach them all the same way. 

2. Our TV ministry team creates programming on various topics, but these are all centered around the belief that we have a living and loving Savior who cares about each individual and has the power to transform lives. 

3. The TV ministry’s prayer team is made up of intensely dedicated, prayerful women who answer calls and give Bible studies at any hour of the day. The personal connections they make with the TV ministry’s viewers are vital to growing the seeds God has planted in the viewers’ hearts. 

Airing India TV Ministry programs on two channels currently costs around $100 per day. 

Most of this expense goes toward paying for the airtime to broadcast the programs.

We are also currently in the process of opening more TV studios in other parts of India.
